“I work for Erskine Design in Nottingham. Which is nice. You've got choices, you can visit my homepage, take a look at the available downloads or view the blog archives. Please contact me whenever you like. Also, why not subscribe to the RSS feed.”
I finished the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon on September 15th 2008. It was hard work. To be honest.
Nottingham Marathon. 26 Miles. Done.
Finished in 4.5 hours. Slower than I would have liked, but I’ll take that. Delighted I finished.
You can still sponsor me (post-event) here: http://www.justgiving.com/glenswinfield - I’d really appreciate it if you did.
Stuff from my toes is seeping through my socks. Look at what they make you give.
Food now. Thanks for your support

Well done mate. Make sure you wash your feet before coming to work tomorrow.

loving your work mate, how did your knee hold out? also, now you’ll be able to trade your running shoes for a nice road bike!

I’m sorry but I just don’t see 4.5 hours of running being any good for your body or your knees. Long distance running, especially on asphalt, is known to be very very bad for knees. I never understood the point of marathons, we stopped bringing messages from town to town by foot millenia ago.
In any case congratulations on your feat, I don’t think I would have the patience of the will power to run a marathon.
